Prepare your car for driving by connecting the batteries. Remove the body from the car by unpinning the four clips securing the body in place. Connect the battery pack inside the car chassis to the electric speed control. Replace the car body, and clip it to the chassis. Open the battery enclosure on the radio transmitter place a fresh set of batteries into the transmitter. Close the transmitter case.
Turn on the power for both the RC car and the transmitter.
Test the transmitter and radio receiver by turning the steering wheel on the radio transmitter and watching the car to see if the car wheels turn as well. If there is no response, check the connection between the battery pack and the electric speed control and then try again.
Apply gentle pressure to the trigger control on your remote transmitter to begin the car moving forward. Apply more pressure to the trigger in order to increase speed. If using a dual-stick remote control, move the car forward by pressing gently on the vertical stick. Slow or reverse the car by reversing the direction of pressure on the trigger or vertical throttle.
Steer the car by turning the steering wheel on the remote transmitter in the direction you wish the car to go. Slight changes to the wheel will translate into gentle turns, while sharp twists of the steering will result in sharp turns. Use the horizontal stick to steer if using a dual-stick transmitter.
