How to Install a Battery on a John Deere Perego

For years, John Deere and Peg Perego have teamed up to produce a series of battery-operated, ride-on utility vehicles for children. The line includes replica mowers and trailers, farm tractors, a power-lift Gator and construction equipment with working front-loader scoops. Regardless of the model, the process to install a battery on a John Deere Peg Perego remains similar. The 12-volt battery is fastened into place, safely away from the little fingers of young children.

Place the new battery into the battery housing.

    • 2

Attach the system plug to the battery plug by pushing the two connectors together with your hands.
