Measure and cut some pieces of wood out of the 1-foot wide 3/4-inch wood. You need two each of the following: 2-feet-6-inch side panels, 1-foot square back panels, and 4-inch top panels.
Measure and mark four inches from the sides of the 2-foot-6-inch pieces, and measure about one inch from the side at the middle of this plank.
Cut out the curve of the printout template and trace that onto the side panels. Flip the paper over to trace the full shape of the halfpipe onto this side panel.
Cut the curve of the curve pipe out of the two longest pieces of wood.
Make sure the curve is duplicated on both pieces, or the half pipe won't be level. Use the rasp file and sandpaper to make any minor changes.
Place the two side panels about a foot apart; place both of the back panels along the backs of these two pieces. Screw them into place, so they make a box.
Place the top panels across the two top parts of the halfpipe. This is where the skateboard can stall or rest between tricks. Screw them into place.
File and sand the halfpipe down. Make it as smooth and level as possible.
Push the flexiply into the curve of the halfpipe. You may need to trim it so that you can position it with about a quarter-inch on either side of the ramp.
Tack the flexiply into place, starting at the center. It may help to have an assistant push and hold the board in place while you tack it.
Hammer tacks into place at about 1- to 1 1/2-inch intervals around the whole perimeter of the flexiply. Make sure they are flush with the surface so no one snags a wrist or messes up a trick during play.
Superglue the metal piping into the 1/4-inch gap at the edges of the flexiply, and hold it in place with electrical tape until the glue dries. This is the crowning on the ramp, which is now complete.
