How to Charge the Battery in a New Bright Fountain Boat

New Bright Fountain Boats come with two AA batteries for the controller and a 9.6 volt battery pack for the boat--everything you need to get started. While the AA batteries are not rechargeable and are ready to go right out of the pack, the 9.6 volt battery and charger can be somewhat confusing for people who are unfamiliar with charging batteries. Fortunately, the process is relatively straightforward and simple, and doesn't require any additional equipment.

     Plug the charger into a wall outlet.

     Insert the 9.6 volt battery into the charger with the arrow pointing into the charger.

     Allow the battery to charge for 8 hours.

     Remove the battery from the charger. The battery is now fully charged and ready to be used in the boat.
