Things You'll Need
Instructions
Make the bread. Choose a piece of lumber that suits your needs. Trace the outline of a piece of bread on the lumber. Cut the piece out using a jigsaw. Repeat for additional slices of bread. Achieve more detailed shapes and textures using sandpaper.
Make the toppings. Choose wood that suits your needs. If making a slice of cheese, use a thinner piece of lumber than the one you used for the bread. If making a hamburger patty, you may want a thicker piece. Draw circles on the lumber for toppings like tomatoes and patties. Draw squares for toppings such as sandwich meats and cheeses. Cut the pieces out using a jigsaw.
Color the toppings using paints and wood stains. Experiment with different colors, different sized brushes and different brush strokes to achieve the desire effect.
Wait for the paint to dry then build your sandwich. Glue the pieces together if you want the pieces to stay in the order you picked. Or don't glue them if you want to mix and match.
