Things You'll Need
Instructions
Design the roller coaster by drawing it out and planning beforehand. Since it is a play roller coaster, it does not have to be fancy or large. It can be simple and still work.
Build the base of the roller coaster. Drill holes into the bottom to attach the wood pieces to the base. If painting the base, paint it now and let it dry. Paint all details on the base before attaching the track to it; you might not be able to do so later. Let it completely dry before moving forward.
Attach the track to the base. Glue the track into the holes that were drilled into the base to keep the track from sliding out of place. Take your time putting the track together around the twists and turns so no damage is done, and the track securely is put into place.
Add the marbles to the top of the track, and roll them gently down to see if the roller coaster works. You can then add more or less marbles depending on how many you want to play with.
