All American Big Barn
A do-it-yourself kit part of the Ruff 'n Rustic toy collection favored by children, this barn assembles quickly. Six model horse stalls, farm accessories and a loft to store hay, provide the imaginative child with hours of fun. Construction features include 3/8-inch-thick exterior walls milled in clapboard style and grooved sidewalls for easy construction. When complete the barn measures 22 1/2 inches wide, 14 inches deep and stands 19 inches tall with a 1-inch-to-1-foot scale. Supplies needed for assembly include a razor saw, hammer, utility knife, masking tape, sandpaper, ruler, brads, paint and glue. Recommended for children over age 8.
Schleich Big Red Barn
This big red barn caters to children who collect Schleich horses and matches their scale. Made out of wood with plastic trim, this barn is 19 3/4 inches wide, 11 inches deep and stands 12 3/4 inches tall. The barn lists for children age 3 and up.
John Deere Big Wooden Barn
This set is onstructed from wood with a wide-open floor plan. As an added feature, the hinged roof opens for play. Both doors on ether end of the barn also swing open with a side sliding door that allows 1/16-scale toy tractors and other farm toys access to the barn. This barn also comes complete with five sections of wooden fence than stands 3 1/2 inches tall and is 9 inches long. Some assembly is required for this 24-by-18-by-18-inch barn. Made of natural wood, the assembled barn measures 30 1/2 inches long by 21 inches tall and 18 1/2 inches deep. This barn is not recommended for children under age 8.
