Things You'll Need
Instructions
Find a wooden train track layout on a website dedicated to wooden trains, such as Squirrel Tracks or My Little Red Wagon Toys' train layout page.
Separate the wooden train track pieces you have into groups. Create a group for each type of track, including curved track pieces, short straight track pieces, long straight track pieces and so on. Count how many of each type of piece you have and compare it to the numbers in the layout. Make sure you have enough of each type of track to complete the layout.
Lay your track like the image in the layout.
Snap the tab at the end of each track piece into the notch in the next track piece as you lay the track. Continue laying your track and connecting the track pieces until the layout you've chosen is complete.
Connect any train engines or cars together using the magnets at the end of each vehicle. Place the finished, full engine on the track.
