How to Store a Train Table in a Playroom

Train tables encourage imaginative play and allow children to build complicated structures for their toy trains. Children spend hours arranging train tracks and steering their trains on them. However, train tables are big and bulky, making a good storage place a necessity. While their size makes storage a challenge, you can easily and safely store your train table in a playroom.

      Remove trains and train track from the table. Pieces of the train set may get lost if they remain on the table.

      Place the train table in a corner of the playroom. Do not place the table in direct sunlight because sunlight may cause the table's paint to fade. If you do not have an empty corner, place the table against a wall.

      Place other toys on and under the train table. Children can use train tables as places to play with dollhouses and put together puzzles.
