How Do You Get Through the Forever Forest in the Game Paper Mario?

In "Paper Mario" for Nintendo 64, Forever Forest stands between Toad Town and Mario's destination: Boo's Mansion. Each area of the Forever Forest has four exits, but only one of them is correct. If you take the wrong exit, you'll go back to the beginning of the maze. You can find the correct exits by looking for hints, such as dancing flowers, glowing mushrooms and grinning trees.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter Forever Forest from Toad Town and then take the east exit.

    • 2

Walk left in the next area and then take the north exit. This exit is marked by a log with glowing eyes.

    • 3

Head left and take the west exit. The exit is marked by four flowers.

    • 4

Go left and then take the short path to the center of the room. Talk to the Bub-ulb character to earn a Magic Seed. You'll need this item later in the game for another quest.

    • 5

Walk left or right and take the north exit. A tree with a face marks this exit.

    • 6

Take the east exit if you want to pick up the HP Plus Badge item in the next room. Once you get the item, head back to the previous room via the exit marked by a beehive.

    • 7

Take the west exit. This exit has more mushrooms in front of it than the others.

    • 8

Go through the north exit in the next room. This exit is marked by flowers that disappear when you press the "A" button in front of them.

    • 9

Take the north exit if you want to get the FP Plus badge. Go back to the previous room via the south exit.

    • 10

Take the east exit that's marked by a sign to leave Forever Forest.
