What Do You Do With the Secret Eggs in Banjo Tooie?

Flying to the Pink Egg

• To find the first secret egg in "Banjo-Tooie," head to the Spiral Mountain, where your adventure began. Blow apart the fenced-in wall using your grenade eggs, and then climb the mountain. Step on the flight pad and jump up to start flying. Fly toward the wall you blew up with the grenade eggs. Land in the small cave, and then break apart the bouncing game pak to collect the secret pink egg.

Climbing to the Blue Egg

• After you pick up the pink egg, head toward the nearby waterfall. Use the flight pad to fly past the waterfall and into the cavern behind it. When you enter the cave, Banjo and Kazooie land in the flowing water. Swim to the ledge on the left side of the cavern, and then pull yourself up onto the ledge. Move along the ledge toward the fenced-in game pak. Perform a backflip to reach the ledge above you. Move to the right to get behind the waterfall, and then pull yourself up. Walk behind the fence and break the game pak open to get the secret blue egg.

Hatching the Yellow Egg

• After you collect the pink and blue eggs, pay a visit to Heggy the hen in the Wooded Hollow. Give her the eggs to receive two rewards, the Breegull Bash attack and the homing eggs cheat code. Once you get your prizes, use the split-up pad in front of Heggy's nest to separate Banjo and Kazooie. Switch to Kazooie and head up the ramp. Sit on the large yellow egg at the top of the ramp, and then use Kazooie's egg-hatching ability to break open the egg.

What the Eggs Do

• The secret pink egg rewards you with the Breegull Bash, a special attack move that lets Banjo use Kazooie as a powerful weapon. To perform the move, tap the "A" button twice while not moving. Banjo takes Kazooie out of his pack and smashes her down onto any nearby enemies.

  The secret blue egg gives you the homing eggs cheat code. Head to the cheat code area in Mayahem Temple. On the cheat code entry screen, type "Homing." Any eggs that Kazooie shoots automatically home in on enemies.

  When you hatch the secret yellow egg, you unlock the Jinjo as a character in multiplayer mode.
