Instructions
Enter the cavern and equip your bomb flowers from the Start menu. Press "A" to place them and destroy the wall in front of you. Walk right until you reach a ladder. Climb the ladder, walk straight until you find a door and blow it open with your bomb flowers.
Enter the door and follow the path ahead of you until you see a set of Armos statues. Push the statues so that they cover the switch on the floor, which will enable you to climb to the second level of the room and open the door there.
Walk through the door to enter a room with several small islands floating in lava. Jump from island to island until you reach the door on the other side. Open the door, equip your Deku stick from the "Start" menu and head into the next room. Walk into the torch to light your Deku Stick, and then run around the room and walk into the three unlit torches to light them.
Enter the door that opens and follow the path until you see a switch. Stand on the switch to unlock a door across the room. Walk to the other side of the room, where you will find a ladder. Climb the ladder and you will see a blocked door. Open the door with a bomb flower. Open the chest inside the room to find a Dungeon Map.
Walk over to the door that you unlocked earlier and open it. Follow the path until you reach an inaccessible staircase with bomb flowers around it. Set one of your own to detonate the whole bunch, which will bring the stairs down, enabling you to climb them. Up the stairs and to the right, you will find another room.
Enter the room and move the object that is right in front of the ladder so that you can climb it. Up the ladder is a switch. Step on the switch and head through the door into the next room. Walk across the bridge and jump down the other side. Look for a gray block, pull it out just a little and climb on top of it; you will find a chest full of bomb flowers, which you can throw at the door across the room to open it.
Enter the next room, equip your slingshot from the Start menu and shoot the eye hanging above the fire, which will put the fire out. Walk into the next area and shoot another eye with your slingshot; this time the eye will be to the left of the first platform that you can jump on. Quickly run to the next room and jump over the gap. On the right side will be a chest full of bombs. Grab them and continue to the next room.
Find the switch on the ground in the next room and step on it. Head to the bridge on the right side and throw bombs in the two holes that you'll find there. The holes lead to the eyes of a giant skull below. When both eyes are red, you will be able to jump into the mouth and access the next area.
Walk right until you find a room full of blocks. Climb the blocks to get to the other side of the room, where you will find some pots. Go straight from there and you will see a lone block. Press and hold "A" to push the block down, toward the center of the room and into the switch on the ground. This will lead to the final room before the boss.
Walk over to the chest at the end of the room, which contains more bombs. Place a bomb in the center of the room to reveal a hole. Jump down the hole to access the boss of Dodongo's Cavern.
