How to Get All Secret Eggs in Banjo-Tooie for XBox

Though the protagonist Banjo of the "Banjo-Kazooie" series is familiar with firing projectile eggs as a weapon, he could not use specialty eggs until "Banjo-Tooie" was released in 2000. Among the many weapons he deploys are fire eggs, ice eggs and the remote-detonated Kazooie clockwork eggs. Banjo has a litany of available attacks to inflict damage, but eggs are often used for more specific purposes during puzzle solving elements of levels.

  Speak with Jamjars below Honey B's Hive in the Plateau region, and he will teach you the fire egg ability for 45 notes. Fire eggs catch enemies on fire on impact and are also used to burn obstacles and solve fire-specific puzzles.

  Learn the ice egg ability on the clifftop of the Isle O' Hags in exchange for 200 notes. This attack freezes enemies, though they thaw quickly, and it is also instrumental in several puzzles throughout the game.

  Reach the wasteland of the Isle O' Hags and buy Kazooie clockwork eggs for 315 notes. These tiny bombs are remote-controlled and detonate on command. Banjo can carry only 10 of these at a time, and during the rare instances that they're found, he only receives them one at a time.

  Climb the spiral ramp of "Spiral Mountain" to get to the flight pad at the top. Press "A" while standing on the flight pad to activate Kazooie's flight ability, and fly into the nearby cave across from the mountain that is unreachable by other means. Smash the container inside to get a pink egg.

  Activate the flight path at the entrance of the pink egg's cave and fly to the west of "Spiral Mountain" and into a hidden entrance above the waterfall. Swim against the flow of the water and jump over a smaller waterfall ahead to reach another container with a blue egg inside.
