He'll grant you access to the Death Mountain Trail. Watch out for falling boulders as you make your way up the trail.

    • 3

Pass the red windsock and enter Goron City, beyond the large gateway. Go to the bottom level of this tiered, rocky town and stand on the gray area before the closed doorway. Play ̶0;Zelda's Lullaby̶1; (C Left, C Up, C Right, C Left, C Up, C Right) on your Ocarina and the door will open.

    • 4

Enter the chamber and speak to Darunia, the distressed King of the Gorons. Play ̶0;Saria's Song̶1; (C Down, C Right, C Left, C Down, C Right, C Left) for the king and he will reward you with Goron's Bracelet, an item you'll need to take on the dastardly lizard Dodongo in his cavern.

    Silver Gauntlets

    • 5

Enter the Spirit Temple in the Gerudo Desert as young Link and talk to the Gerudo woman, Nabooru, who speaks of the Silver Gauntlets. Collect the first two small keys in the temple by defeating Anubis on the first floor and collecting five silver rupees on the third floor.

    • 6

Defeat the first Iron Knuckle in the Spirit Temple. Lure this towering knight in and attack him between his axe strikes. Exit the room via the doorway leading into the sunlight.

    • 7

Speak to Kaepora Gaebora the owl and open the chest to receive the Silver Gauntlets. You can't equip them as young Link, however, so you'll have to play the "Prelude of Light" on your Ocarina. This will take you back to the Temple of Time, where you can return to the future and become adult Link.

    Golden Gauntlets

    • 8

Enter Ganon's castle as adult Link near the very end of the game. Cross the bridge created by the six sages to enter the evil sorcerer's castle.

    • 9

Take a right from the main chamber, head down the stairs and take the next set of stairs up. Enter the purple door.

    • 10

Light the unlit torch with a Fire Arrow, which will cause floating blocks to appear temporarily. Cross the blocks all the way to the second platform and then the right side of the room -- light the torch again, if necessary. Step on the switch on the floor, causing a treasure chest to appear.

    • 11

Grapple your way to the treasure chest's platform using the Longshot. Open the chest to receive the Golden Gauntlets.
