How Do I Find Saria in the Lost Woods in Zelda Ocarina of Time?

It's easy to get disoriented when you're searching the Lost Woods for Saria in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time." This maze-like area features many diverging paths, practically begging you to take a wrong turn. Your auto-map will be disabled while you're attempting to navigate the Lost Woods, so you'll have to rely on your surroundings to lead the way. Once you've made it through the Lost Woods to the Sacred Meadow, Saria is only a short distance away.

Instructions

  Enter the Lost Woods and take the right path to reach the next location. Follow the left path from here to continue. Listen closely to the music in the area. The volume will increase as you approach each correct path.

  Go right into another area and then left. Continue straight ahead and then left again. Take one more right turn to reach the Sacred Meadow.

  Defeat the Wolfos enemy to open the gate. Head through it and go right. Stick to the right wall as you follow the path to the end, and then continue up the next path on the left. You'll cross a grassy path and reach a fork that goes left and right. You can go either direction from here; the paths will converge at your destination.

  Proceed up the two sets of stairs; defeat the enemies that you encounter along the way. When you get to the top, you will find Saria in a clearing. Watch the cutscene, and choose "Yes" when the option appears. Link will learn "Saria's Song."
