How to Get a Fairy in the Jar on Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Bottled fairies are among the most useful items you can collect in the Nintendo game "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time." Whether you need a quick health boost between battles or want to be returned to life after a fatal fight with Phantom Ganon, bottled fairies have you covered. You have to capture these fairies in one of the jars Link acquires over the course of his journey through the land of Hyrule.

Instructions

  Assign one of your empty jars to either the "C Left," "C Right" or "C Up" buttons.

  Travel to the Great Fairy Fountain near the entrance to Hyrule Castle.

  Fall down the small hole to enter the Great Fairy's Domain.

  Run up to the hoard of small fairies circling around the Great Fairy.
- 5
  Press the C button to which you assigned your empty jar to nab a fairy. You can repeat this process as many times as you like with your other empty bottles.
