How Do You Dive in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time?

In "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time," originally for the Nintendo 64 and remade for the Nintendo 3DS, you play as Link. This elfin-like character must explore Hyrule to gain the strength he needs to defeat Ganondorf, who has kidnapped Princess Zelda. As Link, you will perform a number of functions, including diving deep into water occasionally to solve puzzles or collect important items.

     Move to deep water and wait for the "Dive" command to appear over the contextual action location at the top of the screen.

     Press and hold the "A" button to make Link dive as far as he can.

   • 3

     Release the "A" button to bring Link back to the surface.
