How to Get the Goron Tunic on Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

In "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time," you must collect five elemental medallions before you can face off against the game's villain, Gannondorf. You obtain medallions by completing dungeons. One of the dungeons you must complete is the Death Mountain Crater. Before entering the dungeon, you must obtain the Goron Tunic. This tunic protects Link from the damage he would otherwise take from walking on lava. Without the tunic, you cannot complete the dungeon to retrieve the medallion. As an adult, Link can visit Goron City to get the Goron Tunic.

     Transform into adult Link, if he is not one already. Link can be transformed from a child to an adult at the Temple of Time next to the Hyrule Castle Town market.

     Visit Goron City. To get to Goron City, travel past Kakariko Village and up Death Mountain. The city is at the top of Death Mountain.

     Locate the rolling Goron and stop him from rolling around the city. Place a bomb in his path. If the bomb explodes as the Goron is passing, he will stop.

     Talk to the Goron. After explaining his story, he will reward Link with the Goron Tunic.
