How to Get Bombchu in Ocarina of Time

The bombchu in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" is an explosive device that looks much like a mouse. You place it on the ground and it scurries forward until the fuse runs out and it explodes. The easiest way to get a lot of bombchus is by collecting 40 "golden skulltula" tokens, which are left behind when you kill golden-skulltula spiders along the walls in the game. These can be exchanged for important items such as bombchus.

Instructions

- 1
  Kill 40 golden skulltulas. You can use your slingshot, bow and arrow and various other weapons to do the trick.

  Collect a token for each skulltula you kill. You will often find that the tokens are too high to reach because they appear where the enemy was dispatched, often up on a wall. Aim your boomerang at the token to grab it and bring it back to you.
- 3
  Go to Karariko Village and enter the House of Skulltula once you have 40 of the tokens. In addition to freeing 40 people placed under a curse by the skulltulas, you will receive 20 bombchus as a reward.
