How to Beat the Little Mermaid for Sega

"Ariel: The Little Mermaid" puts you in the role of the title character from the popular Disney film as you explore the ocean depths of Atlantis, dodging sharks, hunting for treasure and trying to defeat the wicked Queen Ursula. Making it to the final level is easier said than done, however. To beat "The Little Mermaid" for Sega, you will have to take your time exploring each level, gathering all the available power-ups and avoiding all of Ursula's minions.

Instructions

- 1
  Collect as many water lights as possible. These flashing orbs scattered throughout the game's levels render Ariel temporarily invincible, making it easy to speed through a level without taking damage.

  Find all 10 sea urchins in each level. Earning the whole set gains you an extra life, which will come in handy during the game's later stages.
- 3
  Try your keys on all treasure chests in a level before you leave. You never know what you might find, and you can't return to a level you have already completed.
- 4
  Out-swim physically powerful foes like sharks. Ariel's fin spin attack almost always proves futile against these big brutes, so you're better off just high tailing it when you see one coming.
