How to Become an Adult on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

A major feature of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" is Link's ability to transform from a child to an adult. As an adult, Link is sent seven years into the future. In the future world, the Hyrule is transformed from the peaceful land of his youth into a dark, sinister world. To return the world to its previous state, Link must journey across the land and collect five elemental medallions. Collecting these medallions requires him to transform back and forth from a child to an adult to solve every puzzle required to get them.

Instructions

- 1
  Complete the first three dungeons of the game and collect the spiritual stones from those dungeons. These dungeons are The Deku Tree, Dodongo's Cavern and inside Jabu-Jabu's belly.

  Return to Hyrule Castle. Before you are able to enter the castle, a scene will play. Zelda will entrust you with the Ocarina of Time.

  Visit the Temple of Time. The Temple of Time is connected to the Hyrule Town Market. Exit the market from the east. Navigate through the gardens and enter the temple.

  Play the "Song of Time" in front of the altar to place the three spiritual stones. This opens a door leading to the back of the temple.

  Enter the door to the back room. Here you find the Master Sword.
- 6
  Walk up to the Master Sword and press "A." A scene plays and Link is turned into an adult.
