How to Get the Flying Boots in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

"The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" is an action adventure game where the main character, Link, travels to various dungeons in search of artifacts he must use to defeat evil. The Flying Boots, or Hover Boots, are an item Link finds in the Shadow Temple. These boots help Link stay on the surface of water, hover for short periods of time and jump greater distances. You will need to complete the first four Temples before being able to reach the Shadow Temple.

  Travel to Kakariko Village. As you enter the village, you learn the "Nocturne of Shadow," which will take you to the entrance of the Shadow Temple.

  Play the "Nocturne of Shadow" and enter the Shadow Temple. Equip the "Lens of Truth" to pass through the secret passages in the temple.

  Go right once inside the temple and then go in the door to the left. The door will shut and you will need to defeat the enemies inside. A chest will spawn with the dungeon map inside.

  Head back toward the entrance of the Temple. Activate the "Lens of Truth" to see through the fake wall in the northwest corner of the temple.

  Continue heading through the hallway and enter the room on the left. Again, the door will shut behind you and the Dead Hand enemy will spawn that you must defeat. Let one of the hands grab you to lure him out, then keep your distance from him until he lowers his head so you can attack with your sword.

  Defeat the Dead Hand enemy and a treasure chest will appear. Open it and you will recieve the Flying Boots.
