Acquire a minimum of 250 affection points with at least one of the five women available at the farm. You'll be able to choose which woman you want to marry if you have multiple women with 250 affection points. Talk to the women you are interested in every time you see them in town. If possible, give them a gift. Each woman has her own likes and dislikes for gifts. If you give her a gift that she does not like, her affection points decrease. You can purchase gifts in town or bring gifts from your farm.
Head north from town to enter the mountains. Go to the eastern side of the mountain map to find the mountain tree house. Talk to the carpenter, who asks if you want to upgrade your house without prompting. Before the carpenter can add anything to your house, you need 5,000 gold pieces and 250 wood logs.
Go to the village on a Sunday and talk to the Hawker at his table by the main town entrance. Press "Buy." Buy the Blue Feather from him for 1,000 gold pieces. Press "X" and equip the Blue Feather in your tool slot. Go up to the girl and press "Y" to use the feather on her during a Saturday to trigger the marriage ceremony.
Raise your wife's happiness score by going to bed with her and giving her gifts. Press "X" to equip a gift. Walk up to your wife and press "Y" to hand her the gift. Press "A" to talk to your wife in bed at 8:00 p.m. to go to bed with her. Your wife becomes pregnant after increasing her affection score continually over the course of one month. The child is born two months after your wife becomes pregnant. You can have up to three children over the course of a "Harvest Moon" game, which takes place over three years.
