Instructions
Walk to the left of King Zora's throne. You'll see one of the Zoras standing at the edge of a tall waterfall. Talk to him to play the Diving mini game.
Dive to grab all the silver rupees before the timer runs out. The Zora tells you to come back up to claim your prize. Make your way back up.
Talk to the Zora to claim the Silver Scale that makes it possible for you to dive deeper.
Jump off the waterfall again. You will see a passageway under the water; take the passageway. You emerge in Lake Hylia.
Target the object floating in the water and dive to it. When you come up, you get a message that you found a bottle with a letter from Princess Ruto inside.
Go back to Zora's Domain through the underwater passageway and go in front of the throne. Equip the bottle and use it. Link holds the bottle out to King Zora, who reads it. It turns out that Princess Ruto went to check on Jabu-Jabu, their patron deity, who was last seen acting strangely and hasn't been seen since. The King requests your help in finding Ruto and moves aside to grant you access to Zora's Fountain where Jabu-Jabu lives. He keeps the letter, leaving you with the empty bottle.
Go through the passageway behind the throne. You'll arrive at a pedestal with Jabu-Jabu floating in front of it. For the time, you can do nothing here.
Go to the southeastern part of Hyrule Field and look for a brown boulder. Place a bomb next to the boulder to explode the boulder and reveal a secret grotto beneath it.
Go into the grotto to arrive at a small pool with a fish swimming in it. Scoop the fish into the bottle.
Travel back to Zora's Fountain and stand in front of Jabu-Jabu's mouth. Drop the fish in front of him; he takes the fish as an offering, opens his mouth and sucks you and the fish inside.
