How to Bungee Jump in the First Level on GoldenEye

James Bond makes his way onto the Nintendo 64 in "GoldenEye 007." Following the format of the 1995 movie, you must infiltrate Russia as the famous MI6 agent and recover a nuclear satellite laser. The first few missions of the game don't tie directly into this plot. Instead, they flash back nine years prior to the main story of the game and show the mission that caused Alec Trevelyan---formerly 006---to defect. The first mission has Bond infiltrating a dam/military base to intercept secret weapons testing data.

Instructions

- 1
  Move around the opening area, kill the first guard and pick up the KF7 Soviet rifle. Switch to it, zoom in and kill the two guards on the other side of the tower. If you have to, move closer.

  Enter the guard tower, go up the steps and pick up the sniper rifle. Switch to it and aim into the tunnel, then shoot the two guards in the tunnel.

  Go through the tunnel, stopping to eliminate the guards in the open area with the bunker, oil drums and crate. You can shoot the oil drums and crates to make them explode and do some of the work for you as long as you aren't too close.

  Open the two gates to allow you and the truck access to the next area. Shoot the running guard before he gets to the alarm and triggers it; another guard will come from the tower.

  Destroy the alarm, go through the fence and open the door. After you kill the guard, he will drop a DD44-Dostovei pistol, which is more accurate and powerful than your silenced PP7.

  Open your watch menu by pressing "Start." Switch to the Covert Modem and walk around the side of the building with the satellite dish on top. You will see a computer display with wires leading up to the dish. Walk up to the terminal and press "Z" to place the modem. You should get the message "Covert Modem Installed."

  Shoot the lock and open the gate. Proceed across the top of the dam, killing the tower guards and destroying the alarms inside. There are three of these.

  Take the steps down and backtrack beneath the dam, taking out all opposition you meet in true Bond style. Watch out for the guards standing around the right-hand corners in some chambers.

  Open the door at the end and kill the guards while taking care not to destroy the large computer mainframes behind the glass. Walk up to the mainframe and press "B." You'll get the message "Off-Site Data Backup Initiated." If you've taken out all the guards below, you have nothing to worry about. If some are still left alive, they will likely have followed you and you'll have a firefight to deal with and risk destroying the mainframe before the backup is complete.

  Go back up and walk along the dam. You should see a staircase on the opposite side from the towers. Walk up and off this staircase to finish the first level of "GoldenEye" by bungee jumping off the platform.
