How to Kill the Last Boss in Bubble Bobble

In "Bubble Bobble," you must rescue two girls from a nameless boss villain in the final level. "Bubble Bobble" is a title from the old Nintendo Entertainment System, and the final boss has the same vulnerabilities as most NES bosses. That means he can be beaten easily if you maintain an attack pattern. In this case, you must avoid his projectiles and attack him with your lightning power. Once the final boss falls, you rescue the girls and beat the game.

Instructions

  Press "A" to jump into the air while facing the boss. Press "B" at the same time to release bubbles beneath your character. As he lands, the bubbles will pop and shoot lightning toward the boss.

  Press "A" as necessary to avoid the boss' projectiles. The boss occasionally sprays four pink bullets in your direction. Jump between them to avoid them.

  Run to the other side when the boss gets too close. A general rule to follow is if the boss is on your half of the screen, you should move. Jump away, but turn quickly so you can face the boss.

  Repeat the attack pattern. The boss must be hit 80 times, but you can accomplish this in about two or three minutes. Follow the counter at the top of the screen to see how many hits are necessary to beat the boss.
