How to Play Without the Ghost on Diddy Kong Racing: Time Trial

"Diddy Kong Racing" is a classic racing game for the Nintendo 64. The game has various racing options such as battle mode, time trial, versus and adventure mode. During the regular time trial races, you attempt to complete the course in the fastest time possible. After the first race, a ghost of your character will appear to help you improve and become faster. If you do not wish to have the ghost, you can choose to play in time trial normal mode.

Instructions

  Load "Diddy Kong Racing" and enter the lobby. Drive up to TT, the small clock character, and honk your horn to grab his attention.

  Choose "Time Trial" from the options TT will give you.

  Move the analog stick right or left to change the option from "Time Trial" to "Normal Race." This will allow you to race on the course without a ghost.

  Delete ghost files from your Nintendo 64 memory card by entering the "Save Options" at the main menu, select the ghost files you want to delete and press "A" to confirm.
