How to Beat Booster's Tower on Mario RPG

In the game "Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars," a childish man named Booster holds Princess Peach captive in his tower. Mario must infiltrate Booster's Tower to rescue her before Booster forces the Princess to marry him. Booster's Tower is filled with traps, secrets and his loyal servants called Snifits. At the top of tower, two crafty mages wait for your arrival and they will do anything to stop you from chasing after Booster.

Instructions

      Select Booster's Tower on the world map. You walk up to the entrance of the tower and attempt to open the front door, which is locked, but when you turn around Bowser arrives to knock the door down. Go inside.

      Jump up the blocks and go through the door to reach the second floor. Avoid the endless parade of Snifit enemies that come through the doors unless you want to fight them for experience.

      Wait for Booster's train to pass by you in the next room and then follow it through the eastern door. Climb the stairs to get to the third floor.

      Dodge the walking bombs in this room. Go down the first path you see if you want to grab a powerful weapon. Position Mario so that he stands on the yellow block and faces right. Jump off the platform and you land on a seesaw on the floor below you. A falling bomb lands on the other end of the seesaw, tossing you back up. You hit a chest and get the Masher.

      Return to the third floor and go through the second exit. Jump on the switch in front of you. Go to the next room.

      Jump over or fight the Bullet Bills flying at you in the next room. At the end of the hall, fight the Snifit responsible for shooting the Bullet Bills. When you defeat him, leave the room through the nearby exit.

      Save your game in the next room. Go to the wall of portraits. Flip the fourth picture over, followed by the fifth, third, sixth, second and first. Pick up the key that Booster drops. Use the key on the door next to the portraits. You get Bowser's weapon Chomp. Leave the room.

      Jump up the blocks, dodging the flying enemies. At the top of the room, jump on the seesaw to the next room.

      Grab the key on the other side of the room. To get there safely, jump on only the panels marked by a coin. If you step on a panel not marked by a coin, you have to fight an enemy. Use the key on the northern door to get the Zoom Shoes and then retreat to the previous room and leave via the western door.

      Run behind the wall in the next room when Booster throws several bombs at you. When the bombs explode and Booster runs away, leave the room.

      Attempt to open the door leading to the exterior terrace where Peach is located. When you try to open the door, Booster appears. Mario runs behind the nearby curtains. Snifits start to open the curtains to look for you. Move Mario so he stands behind a closed curtain when a Snifit opens one. Avoid getting caught and Booster and his Snifits unlock the door and leave. If you get caught by the Snifits in the curtain-opening mini game, you are forced to fight Booster. Use Mario's Super Jump and Bowser's Chomp to take him down.

      Walk out onto the terrace and you are confronted by Knife Guy and Grate Guy. When the battle starts, take out Knife Guy using physical attacks or fire magic. With Knife Guy dead, the duo cannot fuse together and power up their abilities. Kill Grate Guy with thunder magic or physical moves. When both are dead, Booster Tower is completed.
