How to Install After Dark Games

After Dark Games was a series of single and multi-player Apple Macintosh and later PC games distributed by Sierra Entertainment. After Dark Games were based on the After Dark Screensavers software that was initially released for the Apple Macintosh platform. Some of the most notable games from the After Dark series included Solitaire, Toaster Run, Zapper and Mowin' Maniac. Although the After Dark games were released for earlier operating systems, most games can still be installed on Windows 7.

Instructions

  Boot the computer and log in as administrator.

  Insert the After Dark Games CD-ROM into the computer's CD-ROM drive. Make sure there are no scratches or dust on the bottom of the disk.

  Follow the on-screen prompt to install the games on your local hard drive. If no prompt appears automatically, navigate to "My Computer" and right-click on the CD-ROM drive directory. Click "Open." The installation prompt will appear.

  Choose the location on the drive to install the games, and click "OK." Click "Finish" when the installation is complete.
