Sailor Moon R Cheats for the SNES

Bandai released "Sailor Moon R" for the Super Nintendo in 1993. It was the second "Sailor Moon" title to appear on the SNES console. The game plays similarly to the first "Sailor Moon," a side-scrolling fighting game that resembles "Double Dragon." Additions to the second game include a new story line featuring the character Rini, a one-on-one fighting mode (a la "Street Fighter") and better character and background animations.
  1. Use the Same Character in Two-Player Mode

    • "Sailor Moon R" doesn't usually allow two players to play as the same character, but you can work around this. Choose the game mode you want to play and highlight the two-player mode option. Press and hold "L," "R" and "Select" and press the "Start" button with the first player's controller. Both players will be able to play as the same character.

Play "Chibiusa" Mode with Two Players

    • "Chibiusa" mode is a one-player mode in "Sailor Moon R." Highlight "Chibiusa" mode and press and hold "L", "R" and "Select." Then, press "Start" to play this mode with two players. If you play as Chibiusa, you'll also see an alternate ending when you beat the game.

    Pro Action Replay Codes

    • Pro Action Replay works with "Sailor Moon R" for the SNES. Enter "7e0740 50" on the Pro Action Replay screen for infinite energy for player one. Enter "7e0758 09" for infinite lives and "7e0759 09" for infinite bombs for player one. Input "7e0738 86" to become invincible. You can't grab a player while you're invincible.

    Gameplay Tips

    • There are times in the game when you'll fight a gang of enemies at the same time. To survive these gang fights, don't let yourself be cornered. Stay in the center of the screen to avoid being pummeled. If you are overwhelmed, use your special attack. The special attack reduces your health, but it delivers more punishment to your opponents. The special attack is also effective in boss battles.
