How to Put NeoGeo BIOS in MAME

The NeoGeo is a popular fourth-generation video game console that was released in the early 1990s by SNK, a Japanese video game company. MAME is freeware that allows users to play arcade games on a PC. Each arcade system in MAME contains a file called "BIOS," which must be added to the system in order for its games to work. NeoGeo games cannot work without adding NeoGeo BIOS in MAME, so you must download the NeoGeo BIOS.

     Download the NeoGeo BIOS from the FantasyAnime website.

     Go to the folder in which you saved the file.

     Click the file, select "Edit" and then click "Move to Folder." You must place the file in the "ROMS" folder in the MAME directory, but you do not need to unzip the BIOS file.

     Open MAME to test the BIOS file. Double-click a NeoGeo game that you wish to play in MAME. If it works, the installation was successful.
