How to Get More Techniques in Summon Night: Swordcraft Story

"Summon Night: Swordcraft Story" is a Japanese action role-playing game released on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance by Flight Plan in 2003 and 2006. In this game, you can obtain about 180 techniques, which help you get more weapons as you progress through the game's main story. Your master, Bron, teaches you most of them, while you must obtain the rest through random enemy drops and by breaking your opponent's weapons.

Instructions

  Talk to Bron, located in the Silver Guild building. This is the biggest building in town; there is only one town in the game. Bron will teach you the vast majority of techniques over the course of the game when you become ready to learn them.

  Defeat enemies throughout the game. Whether a technique drops from an enemy is random, so continue fighting enemies if you are missing techniques.

  Break an opponent's weapon. This is most easily done with an axe or a hammer. Constantly guard during battle and strike your opponent when he guards to cause maximum damage. You can check your opponent's weapon status by checking the green bar on the top of your screen. When the weapon breaks, you automatically win the battle and earn a technique.
