How to Get a Birdie Badge in Mario Golf

"Mario Golf" is a game for the Nintendo 64 that came out in 1999. In the game you play as various characters from the Mario universe as well as a few original characters. The courses in the game range from normal to the downright wacky. Each hole has a par, the number of swings it should take to complete. If you come in one swing under par you'll get a Birdie Badge for that hole. There are 108 Birdie Badges to get in all.

Instructions

  Select "Tournament Mode" from the menu screen. Choose the character you want to play with by pressing "A."

  Select a course from the screen and press "A."

  Observe the wind and position your character to take the best advantage of it with the control stick. Face them toward the hole as best you can to get there with fewer hits than par.

  Select what kind of shot you want to take, a normal shot or a power shot. You will only have six power shots for the whole tournament. Press "A" to select.
- 5
  Press "A" to start the power meter. Press "A" again to stop the power meter when you reach the desired level of power. Press "A" again to see the area your ball will fall. Be as precise as possible with each hole to get the Birdie Badges.
