How to Do a Suplex on Final Fantasy III

The suplex is one of Sabin's blitz maneuvers in "Final Fantasy III" for Super Nintendo. This game is actually the sixth installment of the "Final Fantasy" series, although it was only the third released in America. To pull off one of these blitz techniques, you have to press a specific set of buttons in the correct order. These input sequences can be confusing for fans of role-playing games like "Final Fantasy III" because few games in the genre use these types of command sequences.

Instructions

    • 1

Fight random battles until Sabin reaches level 10. Sabin learns the suplex blitz technique when he reaches this level. You cannot do the move before Sabin reaches level 10.

    • 2

Get into a battle and choose "Blitz" from Sabin's available commands. Proceed only when the input cursor (a gloved hand pointing at Sabin) appears.

    • 3

Press the "X," "Y," down and up (on the control pad) one after the other in that order. Then press "A" to finish the sequence. If done correctly, Sabin's next move will be the suplex attack.
