How Do I Beat Omniscient on the SNES?

In the fantasy role-playing game "Final Fantasy V" for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System video gaming console, players control a party of characters to defeat monsters throughout the game's story. Some monsters are boss characters, and one boss, Omniscient, guards the Fork Tower. Omniscient, like other bosses in the game, are more difficult to defeat than normal monsters. You must employ special strategies and tactics to beat Ominscient.

Instructions

- 1
  Equip your mage characters with the Wall Ring accessory prior to the battle. The equipment menu will show the harmful spells Omniscient casts. Purchase Wall Rings at the merchant in Easterly Falls for 20,000 gp.

  Cast the Carbuncle summon once in combat or cast Reflect on any character not wearing a Wall Ring. Both spells do the same thing as the Wall Ring, which deflects harmful spells back onto Omniscient.

  Defeat Omniscient using Aero3 and other damaging spells. Do not use physical attacks on Omniscient, or he will cast a spell that restarts the battle. Re-cast Reflect on your characters if it wears off. Omniscient will practically defeat himself when his own spells reflect off of your characters.
