How to Troubleshoot Yobo Gameware

Every year, new games and systems push the limit on graphics and control technologies. That being said, sometimes it is nice to revisit the classics. Yobo Gameware manufactures a number of retro game systems capable of playing some of your favorite titles from the early days of gaming. While troubleshooting steps vary from system to system, you can try a few tips no matter which console you are trying to fix. Once you have tried the general steps and had no luck, you can push into system-specific troubleshooting and possible equipment replacement.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off your Yobo Gameware system and remove the game cartridge.

    • 2

Examine the cartridge for dust and other debris. Remove the debris with a clean cloth. If you have another game, try playing it to ensure the problem is with the system.

    • 3

Check your power outlet by plugging in another device. What seems like a problem with your system could be a problem with your power supply.

    • 4

Verify that your video cables are firmly connected to the correct port on the Yobo Gameware system and run to the correct ports on your television.

    • 5

Ensure your television is set to the correct channel. Most televisions need to be manually tuned to the A/V, AUX or INPUT channels to pick up the signal from your Yobo Gameware system.

    • 6

Test your controller in several controller ports if you are having control problems. It is important to determine whether the port or the controller is the issue.

    • 7

Check the power cable to ensure it is firmly connected to the correct port on your system.
