How to Play Epona's Song in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for N64

In "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" you are given an ocarina that enables you to control time, remove obstacles and warp to different locations. You learn many ocarina songs automatically as you play the game, but some, such as Epona's Song, are somewhat hidden. Epona's Song allows you to call your horse to your side from almost anywhere. To get Epona's Song, you must head to Lon Lon Ranch. There, a farmhand will teach you the melody.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the game until you have met the farmhand, Malon, in front of Hyrule Castle. After meeting Malon, head into the castle to speak with Princess Zelda.

  Exit the town and head into Hyrule Field. Get on your horse, Epona, and ride north to Lon Lon Ranch, in the center of the field.

  Enter Lon Lon Ranch and locate Malon. Get off the horse to speak with her. She comments on your horse and teaches you Epona's Song.
- 4
  Play Epona's Song by pressing the C-stick up, left, right, up, left and right. Epona will come to you in a few seconds.
