Playing as the "Smoke," the Ninja
When you see the copyright screen, hold left on the directional pad and the "A" button. When the logo that displays "Williams" appears, release those buttons and hold right on the directional pad and the "B" button. Once the words "There is no knowledge that is power" appear, again release the previously held buttons and hold the "X" and "Y" buttons. Hold these until the "Mortal Kombat 3" logo appears. If done correctly, Smoke will walk across the screen and you will hear Shao Khan say "Outstanding."
Random Character Select
As Player 1 on the character select screen, highlight Shang Tsung and press "Up" on the directional pad with the Start button. If you are Player 2, highlight Liu Kang instead, but press the same buttons.
Kombat Codes
Kombat codes are codes that will alter the way the game is played. These can be entered at the versus screen, when the individual characters are displayed. The first three boxes are controlled by Player 1, while the last three are controlled by Player 2. The boxes have a special key to each one, as follows.1st box:Low Punch. 2nd box:Block. 3rd box:Low Kick. Depending on the numbers, you will have to press that box key a certain number of times. For instance, if you wished to make the players invisible, the code would be 449449. That would mean each player presses Low punch 4 times, block 4 times and low kick 9 times. Bonus Features
Extras features can be accessed, such as a cheat menu, sound test options or concept art. At the main menu, button combinations can be entered to unlock these options. Entering A, Y, B and X at the main menu will allow you to access the Sound Test. Tournament mode can be unlocked by highlighting the word "Start" and holding the L and R buttons, followed by pressing the Start button on your controller.
