How to Get to the Haunted Halls in Quake 64

In the Nintendo 64 version of "Quake," there is a secret level, known as the Haunted Halls, that contains three Quad Damages, two health items and a Pentagram of Protection. You must be cautious as you traverse the secret level, as it contains a large number of powerful enemies. Getting there in the first place isn't nearly as difficult, though. The level is entered through a secret passage in Level 4: Satan's Dark Delight, which appears in Episode 3 of the game.

     Play through the game until you defeat the enemy shambler in Level 4: Satan's Dark Delight.

     Walk down the steps in the room where you defeated the shambler.

   • 3

     Walk on to one of the thin ledges at the bottom of the stairs.

   • 4

     Look down from the ledge, where you will see a dark hole in the center of lava.

   • 5

     Jump from the ledge into the hole where you will be instantly transported to the Haunted Halls.
