How to Do a Friendship in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

Friendships were introduced into the "Mortal Kombat" series in its first sequel as a humorous response to the controversy over the violent content in the original game. Rather than the gruesome deaths of a Fatality, a Friendship offers a hand of mercy to the opponent. The finisher has appeared in most subsequent sequels and has helped establish the tongue-in-cheek nature of "Mortal Kombat." In "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3" performing the Friendship finisher is similar to the previous titles: you must not use block during the winning round and must quickly enter the specific move combo for the selected character.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose your character from the roster. Each character has a different move combo for their Friendship and you will want to practice the combo before attempting. You can find a move list through a quick search online.

    • 2

Win the first round of the fight with any method including special attacks, blocking, repeat kicking, etc. In the second round however, you must not use block.

    • 3

Defeat your opponent in the second round (without using block) and enter your character's move combo when "Finish Him" appears on screen. For instance, to perform Kitana's Friendship you would enter: down, back, forward, forward, low punch.
