Level Select
From the title screen, you can begin the game from any level. Hold down "Select" and press a button on the D-pad. Pressing "Up" will take you to the Castle stage. "Down" will take you to the Pirate Ship stage. If you press "Left," you'll begin at the Woods. "Right" will start things off from the Ocean stage.
Continue
Use this cheat to continue after losing all of your lives. At the "Game Over" screen, press the "Down" and "A" buttons, then press the "Start" button. You will begin a new game at the previous level.
Fighting Minnie Glitch
Minnie doesn't seem to serve much of a purpose in the game, but you can use her to defeat enemies in any area with a ladder. Position yourself so that both Mickey and Minnie are on the ladder. Once Minnie is on, have Mickey jump off. Minnie will remain on the ladder. Continue to press "Up" or "Down" in whichever direction you were climbing and Minnie will advance to the new floor without Mickey. Minnie is invincible to enemy damage, so she can take on any opponent without a scratch. This trick is especially useful against the Witch and Peg Leg Pete.
Hidden Power-Up
In the first level, stand at one end of the room and turn toward the other side. Jump and throw stars through the air. Sometimes you will hit an invisible object in the room. Continue throwing stars at the object and you will receive a guardian angel, an owl, a jewel or an extra life.
Beat Maleficent Easily
Maleficent may seem like an intimidating boss, but there's a simple way to defeat her. When the battle starts, jump over Maleficent so that you're on her right side. Maleficent only shoots spells to the left, so you'll be out of harm's way. Aim for her face to end the fight.
Game Genie Codes
If you've got a Game Genie, these codes will make "Mickey Mousecapade" a breeze. To begin the game with infinite lives, enter the code "SZSOPZVG." For infinite energy, use "OVOPPTSV." To give stars to Mickey and Minnie use the codes "GPSIEVGE" and "LAVSVTZA."
