Cow in Your Tree House

• Complete the Lon Lon Ranch race in less than 49 seconds, and a cow will begin living in your tree house. You can use a bottle on the cow to receive Lon Lon Milk, which restores health.

Bowser

• If you look closely at the broach on Malon's neck, you will see the face of Bowser, from Nintendo's "Mario" game series. Malon can be found at Lon Lon Ranch.

Free Hylian Shield

• Find a free Hylian Shield in the Kakariko Village's graveyard at night. Once night falls, pull on all of the gravestones with flowers in front of them. One of them will contain a treasure chest with the Hylian Shield inside.

Giant Monsters

• If you kill several Stalchildren, Guays or Leevers in a row, you will encounter a larger version of that monster. This larger monster will drop more rupees and other items than the normal version.

Zombies

• If you play the "Sun's Song" on your ocarina while fighting zombies, the zombies will freeze instantly. This will allow you to easily kill them.

Legal Sinking Lure

• If you find the sinking lure, which is usually declared illegal, while fishing, go to the pond owner and tell him "Let's talk about something else." Using the sinking lure will then become legal for the duration of your stay at the pond. However, you must find the sinking lure and repeat the process every time you return to the pond.

Bald Fisherman

• You can go to the fishing pond and use your fishing rod on the fisherman wearing a hat. The hat will get caught on your hook and fly off the fisherman's head. You will be scolded, but the fisherman will remain hat-less for the rest of the game.
