How to Beat the Pirahna in Ghostbusters Genesis

Based on the popular series, "Ghostbusters" is an action-adventure video game that was released for the Sega Genesis in 1990. Players took control of the "Ghostbusters" characters and worked their way through various levels to defeat the opposing monsters. Each level was guarded by an end boss that became more difficult with each stage. Scaley was the ghost of a giant piranha fish that was at the end of the first stage. To defeat it you must avoid its attacks and counter at the right moment.

     Begin a new "Ghostbusters" game.

     Reach the end of the first stage to find Scaley.

   • 3

     Avoid the attack that shoots the scales towards your character.

   • 4

     Attack with your weapon once all his scales are gone. You have to move quickly because they regenerate.

     Dodge the rolling attack by timing your jump over the boss.

   • 6

     Repeat steps three through five until the boss changes colors.

   • 7

     Dodge his eyes when they fall out and continue attacking until he explodes.

   • 8

     Collect the tablet that falls from his body.
