How Do I Control the Beavis & Butthead Game on an Emulator?

An emulator is a virtual game console that runs on a computer (or other console) and allows you to play games (called ROMs), typically from older systems. There are many emulators out there, ranging back to the pre-Nintendo days and as current as the first PlayStation and Xbox. In some ways it is beneficial to play with a full computer keyboard and for some situations it's the only way to relive the nostalgia of older games, such as "Beavis and Butthead." Getting set up is the biggest task involved with emulators, but it's well worth the hassle.

Instructions

    • 1

Power on the computer on which the emulator is loaded. Allow the operating system time to fully load.

    • 2

Open the emulator by double-clicking on its icon.

    • 3

Scroll through the various menus available.

    • 4

Enter into the menus, looking for "Tools," "Settings," "Options," "Edit," "Input" or a variation of these choices.

    • 5

Locate "Input" and set the controls to what you find comfortable and helpful. Keep in mind that most all of the keys are available to use.

    • 6

Select "File." Click on "Open" or "Load" and begin playing "Beavis and Butthead."

    • 7

Modify the input settings if they are not working for you.
