How to Mod Soul Calibur 4

"Soul Calibur 4" is a fighting game for the PlayStation 3. Unlike other fighting games that only allow you to use the virtual fists of your on-screen characters, "Soul Calibur 4" adds weapons into the mix. If you start the game for the first time and notice problems with either the audio or video settings, you can correct these issues by modifying the default settings of the game from the main menu system.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert your "Soul Calibur 4" game disc into your console. The game's menu will load. Select the "Options" button from the main menu to view a list of the settings you can modify.

    • 2

Select "Versus Mode Settings" to modify the way the game's "Versus" mode operates. You can specify the difficulty level of computer controlled opponents, the total number of battles you will participate in and the length of those battles.

    • 3

Select "Control Settings" to change the layout of your controller. You can select from a few different pre-programmed options relating to what buttons perform what tasks on the controller. The button assignments of each layout will be listed on screen.

    • 4

Select "Sound Settings" to adjust the volume of the game's music, sound effects and voice over clips.

    • 5

Choose "Message Settings." This menu lets you turn the game's "Battle Message" system on and off, as well as enabling and disabling the subtitles.

    • 6

Open "Stage Music Settings" to import music that you've downloaded to your console into the game. This allows you to listen to your favorite songs while you play "Soul Calibur 4."
