Getting to Zora's Domain
Go to the eastern side of Hyrule after beating Dodongo's Cavern and acquiring the Goron's Ruby. Travel south from Kakariko Village to reach Zora's River.
Head up Zora's River by using cuccos to fly across the gaps in the river. All you have to do is pick up a cucco and jump.
Play Zelda's Lullaby on the fairy ocarina in front of the waterfall at the end of the river. Jump through the hole that opens to enter Zora's Domain.
Gaining Access to Jabu Jabu's Belly
Find the King's Chamber by heading up the ramp and the stairs. You'll pass the shop along the way. Talk with King Zora XVI to discover that his daughter, Princess Ruto, is missing.
Speak with the Zora in the cave to the left to play a diving mini-game. To beat the game, you must retrieve all the rupees she throws into the water before the time limit expires. Win the game to receive the Silver Scale, which allows you to dive for a longer period of time.
Dive through the hole in the wall that is close to the mini-game to reach Lake Hylia. Immediately dive again to find a bottle with a note in it.
Deliver the note to King Zora XVI. Go through the entrance he opens to reach Jabu Jabu.
Use your empty bottle to catch a fish. Use the fish in front of Jabu Jabu to get sucked into his mouth.
Completing Jabu Jabu's Belly
Shoot the strange objects with the slingshot to open doors and gain access to further rooms. Talk to Princess Ruto in the center of one of these rooms. She will walk away and fall down a hole. Follow her.
Carry Princess Ruto through the dungeon. Hit the switch in the next room to make the water rise, and then carry Princess Ruto to the next room.
Ride the elevator and go past the room with many holes. Enter the door on the other side and use Princess Ruto to hold down a button to open the door. Defeat all the enemies in this room to acquire the boomerang.
Fight the tentacle down the hall. Target the center and attack it with the boomerang to defeat it.
Throw Princess Ruto onto a higher platform. Defeat Big Octo, the mini-boss that appears. Stun him by hitting the green spot on his back with the boomerang, and then attack him with the sword.
Use the boomerang to hit the strange object that's hanging down. Stand back to allow the boomerang to curve around the wall that is protecting it.
Defeat the boss, Barinade. Hit the tentacles attaching it to the ceiling with the boomerang, and then dodge the electric jellyfish to hit Barinade with your sword. Repeat this process until Barinade dies.
Chose either option to Princess Ruto's question. You'll receive the Zora's Sapphire from her.
