How to Unscrew an SNES Cart

The Super Nintendo (aka "SNES") displays 16-bit graphics that create more detail than earlier Nintendo game consoles. A battery inside of select SNES cartridges provides gaming back-up capabilities. The SNES cartridge shell can be unscrewed when the battery needs to be replaced. The procedure requires a tool, not typically found in most households, that can be acquired from an electronics store or hardware supply store.
