How to Beat Treasure Trove Cove

Completing the Objectives

  Locate the giant hermit crab, Nipper, near the entrance to the world. Press the "A" button to talk to him. This will lead to a fight. Use the "Rat-a-Tap" attack between his eyes while avoiding his claw attack. Just jump in the air when he reaches out with his claws to try to grab you. After three successful attacks, he will retreat. Enter the shell, and claim the first Jiggy.

  Go to the pond with the sand castle at the bottom. On a cliff above the pond, there will be a bucket. Use Kazooie to shoot two eggs at the bucket. This will drain the water in the pond. Enter the sand castle at the bottom of the dried-out pond and use the "beak buster" move to spell "BANJOKAZOOIE" with the letters on the floor. Then, collect the next Jiggy.

  Use "Shock Spring Jump" after you learn it from Bottles the Mole (see Section 3 Step 1) on the designated shock spring platforms. These are colored green. Follow the path from one platform to the next. After the final platform, there will be a cove where the next Jiggy can be collected.

  Climb the hills to reach the highest pond in the level. Jump in the water and dive to the bottom of the pond to collect the next Jiggy.

  Jump out of the water and follow the path to the left. Climb this path to the top of the structure on the hill to get the next Jiggy.

  Go to the half-sunken pirate ship in the middle of the level, and speak to Captain Blubber. Collect the two pieces of his lost treasure. Go into the ship and dive to the bottom to collect the first piece. The second piece can be found in the front of the ship. Swim through the hole in the first part of the ship and get the second piece. Return to deck and give the treasure to Captain Blubber. He will give you the next Jiggy.

  Climb to the crow's next on the half-sunken pirate ship. To the left will be a cave in the mountain side with a treasure chest inside. After learning to fly from Bottles the Mole (see Section 3 Step 2), use the flight platform on the crow's nest to fly over to the cave. Open the chest by using the "Flip Flap Jump" move, and collect the next Jiggy.

  Use one of the flight platforms in the level to fly to the lighthouse atop the cove. Use the "Beak Barge" move to break down the door. Climb to the top of the tower to collect the next Jiggy.

  Locate the green brick tower. At the top is a red "X." Use the "Beak Bust" move and a message will appear telling you to find the treasure. An arrow will appear at the top of the screen. Use the flight platforms scattered around the level to get to the other "X's." Use "Beak Bust" on each "X" to open the path to the next one. At the end of the path, a treasure chest will appear. Use "Beak Bust" on the treasure chest to make the Jiggy appear.

  Find the five Jinjo creatures to get the last Jiggy (see Section 2). After you collect the last Jinjo, the Jiggy will appear.

Finding the Jinjos

  Swim under the dock at the beginning of the level to collect Blue Jinjo. Do this quickly. Staying in the water too long will cause Snacker the Shark to appear, and he can deplete your life by chomping on you while you swim.

  Collect Green Jinjo by climbing to the top mast of Captain Blubber's ship.

  Follow the path around the side of the mountain near the highest pond (see Section 1 Step 4) to get Orange Jinjo.

  Find Pink Jinjo during the "Shock Spring Jump" sequence (see Section 1 Step 3). The Jinjo is on one of the platforms.

  Climb to the top of the tree on the ledge on the side of the mountain, and grab Yellow Jinjo.

Finding Bottles the Mole and Collecting the Honeycombs

  Find the first mole hill on the cliff where the bucket used to drain the sand castle pond is. Talk to Bottles to learn how to use the "Shock Spring Jump" move.

  Find the second mole hill on the mast of Captain Blubber's half-sunken pirate ship. Talk to Bottles to learn how to use the flight platforms to fly.

  Jump into the ocean from the green ledge near the first pool of water on the mountain. Dive below the surface to collect the honeycomb. Again, be quick as Snacker the Shark will appear if you stay in the water too long.

  Use a flight platform to fly out to the floating boxes in the ocean. Atop one of the boxes will be the second honeycomb. Land on the box to collect it.
