How to Unlock Slayer in Halo 1

"Halo: Combat Evolved" was released for the Xbox in 2001. In addition to a single-player mode, "Halo" offers a multiplayer mode with a variety of game types. One game type, "Slayer," is a free-for-all where the player with the most enemy kills is victorious. "Slayer" can be played with four players on one Xbox. All game types are already unlocked and can be played immediately.

     Select "Multiplayer" from the "Halo" main menu.

     Select "Split Screen."

     Press "A" on each player's controller.

   • 4

     Select any map.

   • 5

     Select "Slayer" as the game type.

     Press "Start" or "A" on the first player's Xbox controller to begin the game.
