How to Throw a Player in Super Smash Bros. Nintendo 64

"Super Smash Bros." was originally released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. It has since developed into a long-running series, with games having been released for all of Nintendo's subsequent home consoles. One of the constants in the "Super Smash Bros." franchise is the ability to throw your enemy. Throw "attacks" are often used to send an opponent flying off of the battleground for a knockout, and they can also be an effective end to a combo. To perform this move in the original "Super Smash Bros.," you just have to be standing near the enemy so you can grab him.

Instructions

    • 1

Start a new battle with any character. Throws are equally effective for most fighters, but Kirby and Captain Falco have less power in their throws.

    • 2

Grab your opponent by pushing "Z" and "A" at the same time when you're standing near him.

    • 3

Push left or right on the control stick to throw your enemy one way or the other.
